Rigged model of the tern schooner JAMES MILLER, built by William S. Quincy, c. 1979. Black hull, white deckhouses and trim, natural spars. Scale 1/4" to the foot. Mounted on hardwood base.
JAMES MILLER was a schooner, built in 1854 by Nehemiah Hayden, in Essex, Connecticut. She weighed 491 tons, and measured 130 x 30 x 13. She was re-rigged as bark 1861-64, and sold at Shanghai in 1866.
