Wooden model of 2-masted English steamer, iron well-deck screw brigantine EROS. Model has black hull, natural decks, white trim and tan funnel with black stripe. Model sits in a simulated sea of soft cotton painted blue. Hardwood base is missing glass case. Scale 1/16". EROS (later GURE, later PRAVIA), steamship, blt. 1883 at Stockton, England by Richardson, Duck & Co., 1843 tons, 260 x 36 x 20. Owned by H. Briggs Sons & Co., sold Spanish in 1922, sold Portuguese in 1930. Last reg'd 1932. Model built by Wallace Williams Pratt of Hingham, Mass. in 1930s.
