Full model of whaling bark SUNBEAM. Uncased; mounted on wooden platform base. Black hull with wood bottom. Across the stern, there is a gold eagle with outstretched wings, holding a red and white striped flag; below, text reads: SUNBEAM / NEW BEDFORD. Three masts. Several small whale boats; some are hanging from port and starboard rails, others are stacked on the deck. Sculpted American flag flying from the mizzen yard; sculpted J & W & Wing house flag flying from the mainmast. House flag has a red dot on blue background on one half, and a black "W" on white background on the other half.
