Cased, rigged model of the clipper ship SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS; built by Bassett-Lowke of Northampton, England, Chris Devlin and George Beale; completed June 1, 1978; scale: 3/16" to 1', hull construction is plank on bulkhead, planked and pegged; hull is coppered below the waterline; aft of the catheads the hull is double planked for anchor guards; the deck is laid and pegged and detailed fittings include wheel, figurehead of Neptune; painted, no sails.
