Model of unidentified shallow draft schooner; two beams, rigging, rudder, and deck planking missing. Damage to sheer strakes on both sides; old repairs to port side, bow and several ribs. Hull is black with gold bottom. Mast steps visible in keel. Ceiling painted black. Fastened with small iron brads and staples. Found in old Remington house, Windsor, Conn. Possibly a Connecticut River schooner type.
