Full model of the Farrell Lines ship AUSTRAL PATRIOT mounted to felt-lined wooden base, under a glass vitrine. Model is made of wood, built up on lifts with black painted topsides, and a red bottom. Decks are painted maroon and black. Details include: anchors, bollards, anchor windlass, cargo booms, cargo winches, turning blocks, deck railings, ladders, containers, name boards, funnel with Farrell Lines houseflags, radar, two life boats on davits, search light, propellar, and rudder. The Farrell Lines logo, a shield between two seahorses, is attached to the bow. American flag flies from the stern. Plaque mounted below the model reads: S.S. AUSTRAL PATRIOT / PRESENTED TO JAMES A.
