The Pan American Clipper Cup Yacht Series(aka Clipper Cup Series) began in 1978 and was raced in 1980, 1982 and ended in 1984. The Third International Pan Am Clipper Cup Yacht Series was hosted by the Waikiki Yacht Club of Hawaii and sponsored by Pan American World Airways, Inc. and the events in 1982 took place between August 7th and August 15th off Diamond Head in Hanauma Bay-Koko Head area. Attended by many countries such as Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Bermuda, the U.S. and et al. The first event called the First Ocean Triangle Race was sailed August 7th. The Second Ocean Triangle Race was sailed August 8th. The Molokai Race was sail August 9th. The Third Ocean Triangle Race was sailed August 12th and the Around the State Race was sail August 15th. The only year Stanley Rosenfeld photograhed was 1982.
