Rubber soled canvas deck shoes with rawhide laces; white with blue stripe on rubber; 10 eyelets; label on tongue and inner sole reads "SPERRY/ TOP-SIDER"; same label is on heel of left shoe [b] but missing from right shoe [a]; stamped inside both shoes "9-1/2M/ 0563551/ C-5 CH24/ MADE IN CHINA"; both are worn, stained, right shoe [a] is torn at heel; in gear bag from USS PITTSBURGH; from Joseph Mikolajczak collection.
