Half model of Austrian 28 gun corvette built at Venice, Italy, ca. 1780-1790 (not verified); "hawk's nest" construction between wales, planked above, 12 open broadside gunports, cabin windows and stern chase port, carved quarter gallery, trailboard, figurehead, haval hood, bowsprit and three stub masts, stem, keel, sternpost and rudder; material is natural finish pine on black painted backboard with artistic decorations in color.
