Large whalebone and ivory swift. Turned shaft is topped with urn-shape finial decorated with green leaf design. Circulate table clamp decorated with inlay, probably abalone, in circles and diamonds. Two set screws also elaborately shaped and inlaid. Swift has 24 ribs, comprising about 144 individual pieces, tied at ends with variously colored ribbons.
