Bomb lance; shellaced explosive head lance. Spear head point with tubular magazine. Fuse shaft has cracked wooden casing with twine seizing on one end. Cartridge cap screwed on extreme end. Sticker on shaft has: "133". Oliver Allen bomb lance, one of the 1st bomb lances, c. 1850, Norwich, CT.
