Curved ivory tooth decorated with a Colonial soldier (possibly George Washington) standing in front of colored American flag; flag has 18 stars and "1776/ CONSTITUTION/ July 4th/ G. Washington". Reverse side decorated with the figure of a lady wearing a dark dress and apron and holding a scroll over her head "HOPE", anchor at her left.
