Wedding Tooth by N.S. Finney: Copy of "The Wedding," engraved by Charles Rolls (1800-1857) after a painting done in 1829 by Miss L. Sharpe (pseudonym of Louisa Seyffarth, 1798-1843), in the book "The Keepsake" for 1832 (London: Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown & Green, 1831); with a characteristic urn on verso. The tooth was one of several by Finney brought home by Captain Francis A. Butts from the 1847-51 voyage of the New Bedford bark BRAMIN on which N.S. Finney served as second mate.
