Half model of sloop HASWELL (built 1858, by Richmond at Mystic Bridge). Pine lift, mahogany gunwale (missing stern part) nailed to model, model screwed to mahogany backboard. Backboard painted red-brown. Model painted green below waterline, topsides painted white. Painted gold cove line ending in gold scroll design at bow. Deck painted black. Flat keel.
