Ivory block, rectangular, one side etched scene of man in canoe or kayak rowing under stone bridge, horse-pulled cart crossing bridge, on other side port view of half brig, 2 smaller square-sailed boats in foreground pursuing whale; around long edges castle and fortress; church in landscape, on ends interlaced geometric design deeply carved. Mounted in box with 1946.1477, originally.
