Half model of the Sag Harbor whaler TROPIC, with backboard. Painted gunports. Inscription on backboard, left hand lower corner "Agard" (apparently owner); and in right hand lower corner "Steve Parker", captain. Material is probably pine lifts, painted black topsides showing 13 fake gunports on a white streak, bottom red. Backboard is white; black frame molding around it. Model has stem, keel and sternpost.
