Yacht wheel from cup defender COLUMBIA. Hub bears brass plate reading: 'Herreshoff Manufacturing Co., Bristol, R.I. No. 499 1899'. COLUMBIA's wheel was saved by syndicate member and her final owner, E. D. Morgan. He pushed her hard in competition against his fellow syndicate member C. Oliver Iselin and Capt. Barr in 1903.
