This event is part of the time period of the Harvard-Yale Races, 1926. The Harvard-Yale Races were held on June 25, 1930. The New London Races were held on the 24th - 25th as part of the events pertaining to the spectators and their vessels coming to the Harvard-Yale Races and were taken off New London, CT. Although not an official series of real races, it was titled as the "New London Races". Both names, Harvard-Yale Races and New London Races, were used by the magazines and newspapers.
