Prisoner of war model of 4-decked Ship of the Line elaborately carved, flying the British flag, guns mounted on 4 decks and the poop. Modeled after the QUEEN CHARLOTTE built in 1790, 2286 tons, crew 891. Saw action in several battles and was the leading ship in the Spithead mutiny in 1797 after which a number of her crew were hanged. Destroyed by fire 17 March 1800 near Palermo. Model is made of beef bones by a French prisoner in England.
