The steamship LEVIATHAN (christened VATERLAND) was built by Blohm & Voss in Hamburg, Germany 1914. She was seized by U.S. in 1917, and converted to a troopship. In 1923 she was sold to United States Lines and reconditioned by the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Newport News, Virginia. She was scrapped 1938.
