American Power Boat Association Predicted Log Race for the Huckins Trophy (1955)

Dumont, Cedar Grove, N.J., won the 1955 National Predicted Log Championship of the American Power Boat Association with a total of 2,704.70 points compiled in eight predicted log contests sanctioned by the APBA. Runner-up was Elias H. Kalil, New York, with 2,606.58 points in eight races. Other point leaders were: Baldwin C. Hvass, Greenwich, Conn., 1,854.22; William Edgar John, Rye, N.Y., 1,830.26 and Anson B. Hoyt, Rumson, N.J., 1,676.38.
