Marine motif clock under glass dome. On mahogany base. Stern of a sailing vessel of bronze and ebony with helmsman at wheel. Sailor on port side with a heaving line, ladder to poop deck on starboard side, ventilating hatch and skylight amidships; 3" clock dial with Roman numerals. Marked on plate that covers works "MEDAILLE DOR/ ""/ GLT/ BIF SCDC/ PARIS".
