Silver handled walking stick (cane); belonged to John Brown Herreshoff. Art nouveau designs of fish and waves, and the initials "JBH" in relief on the handle. Engraved beneath the initials "BRISTOL/ R. I."; engraved at the base of the handle, "1910" and "WJB & CO./ STERLING/ 925/ 1000". Steel tip; silver scribed ferrule above the tip. Cane made of a close-grained hardwood, possibly lance wood or a light colored ebony.
