International Fishermen's Race (1922)

Raced by BLUENOSE, a Lunenberg built fishing schooner and skippered by Captain Angus Walters vs. the American schooner, HENRY FORD, skippered by Captain Clayton Morrissey. First race run October 21, 1922 - HENRY FORD won but both vessels were disqualified for technicalities. 2nd race October 23(?) and HENRY FORD won. 3rd race held also in Oct. - BLUENOSE won. 4th race in Oct. - BLUENOSE won. Trophy went home with BLUENOSE.
The Canadian trials were participated by the vessels: MAHASKA, CANADIA, MARGARET K. SMITH as well as BLUENOSE.
