Large mahogany ship's wheel from brigantine yacht ALOHA (built 1899), 6' overall diam. with 10 spokes, all of teak, and a cast bronze hub 21" in diam. with 5" hole in its center. Wood is 4" thick. Two rings of light wood, possibly pear (or satinwood) are inset in the mahogany.
