Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken in Hudson Bay, in July 1905. Identification from original envelope: "Photo 42, Little Tom Luce at the tiller, July 1905." This Inuit boy was named after the owner of the whaling schooner ERA . His cap and coveralls are made of trade cloth.
