Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay, in March 1904. Depicts a group of Inuit children posed inside deck house on board the whaling schooner ERA. Comer identified them as In Too [?], Heyward, Tom Palmer, Arthur Gibbon [or Gibbons], Tom Luce, and Francis Santo. Most of these names also refer to masters and officers of American whaling vessels, suggesting that they were the fathers of these children.
