Glass negative by Capt. George Comer, taken at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay, on February 1, 1905. Depicts a back view of an Inuit man and woman posed inside deck house onboard the whaling schooner ERA. Comer identified them as members of the Show nock tonu [?] tribe. This may refer to the Saquaqturmiut people of the area around Baker Lake and south of Chesterfield Inlet. Information from original envelope identifies this as Photo #18, # A63.
