Wooden tool chest belonging to ship's carpenter Charles Alexander Wenstrom (1868-1947), who later worked in shipyards in Brooklyn, NY and Camden, NJ. Chest is rectangular with decorative metal corner guards and raised decorative panel on lid, small removable till inside. Lock for saw handle mounted on underside of lid. In good condition, with traces of gray paint remaining.
