Sea chest. On lid "Charles Marshall, New York, Owner". On the front, around painting of a full rigged ship and at the left, "Ship 'Montezuma' 1837." At right "Black Ball Liner". Under ship "15 Days to Liverpool Belay All". Chest is dovetailed, wider at the bottom than at the top and has rope beckets. Charles H. Marshall was owner of line. Given in memory of Anne Mason Colton.
