Lantern slide prepared by F.C. Lockwood of Brooklyn, NY from an original photograph by Capt. George Comer. Used by Comer to illustrate lectures about his Arctic and seafaring experiences. Depicts a group of Aivilik Inuit inside a snow house. The man in the center with the beard is the leader of the Aivilik, "Harry" (Ippaktuq Tasseok). Photo taken at Cape Fullerton, Hudson Bay in March, 1905.
