Fishing plug with feathered hook and metal spoon

Fishing plug. Oval shaped metal spoon, slightly concave. Outer surface has raised hexagon honeycomb pattern, and is stamped "PAT DEC. 21 1886" at the center; inner surface is painted red. Spoon is attached to a post, with swivel on one end, and a three-pointed hook with bundle of feathers at the other end.
