Rigged model of the America's Cup defender, 12 meter INTREPID, built to a scale of 1/8" to a foot. By Boucher Lewis Precision Models, Inc. Hull is white with copper stripe, deck sky blue with interior of cockpit and hatches painted brown. Sails are paper, lettered on both sides of mainsail:"12/ US 22". On stern "INTREPID/ NEW YORK" in gold. Temporarily model is attached to a pine base. 1970 version of yacht, reworked after 1967 season. Converted to 1970 version by Ray Pendleton, 1973.
