Folding boat, designer and builder, N. A Osgood, Battle Creek, Michigan, patented 2/26/1878. Tarred? canvas, bent oak frames, wood floor boards. Black. One pair oars with pinned oarlocks, one paddle, original shipping crate: 20-5/8" wide, 42-1/4" long, 23-1/8" high, painted black with label on top, directions on inside cover, 4 brass tubes 4-1/2" x 1-1/4" o.d., 5 wood poles, 4 pieces of floor boards, one container of water proofer, one homemade fishing net with weights and floats. Given in name of Kenneth Osgood Huff.
