CROWLEY off Marthas's Vineyard; obverse: portrait of Andrew Carnegie, "CARNEGIE HERO FUND/ ESTABLISHED APRIL 15TH 1904"; reverse: map of North American, Great Seal of US & 2 heraldic devices, and plaque engraved "AWARDED TO/ LEVI JACKSON/ WHO HELPED TO SAVE/ WILLIAM H. AND IDA M. HASKELL/ AND TWELVE OTHERS/ FROM DROWNING/ EDGARTOWN, MASS. JANUARY 23, 1910". Around edge "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN....." Stamped on edge "BRONZE J. E. CALDWELL & CO. PHILA. PAT. DEC. 11 '06". Case (B) leather covered, green plush lined, marked on front "CARNEGIE MEDAL" and on inside "J. E. CALDWELL & CO, PHILADELPHIA".
