N.Y.Y.C. handbook 1978: "Presented in 1958 by Commodore J. Burr Bartram for racing in the Trelve Metre Class without Time Allowance. The cup is named for several large power yachts owned by his father, J. Percy Bartram, and enrolled in the Club during the first half of the twentieth century. The word derives from a painting in the Louvre [France] depicting All the Good Things in Life. It has been raced for on the Annual Cruise in America's Cup years."
