Photograph from the collection of Captain George Comer (1858-1937) of East Haddam, Connecticut. Two images on the same sheet depicting the whaling schooner ERA. Comer was master of the ERA from 1897-1906. The ERA is on the ways, probably for bottom work. Probably taken at Fairhaven, Massachusetts, ca. 1897-1903.
