Wirral Peninsula, approach to port of Liverpool.
The North Wirral Coastal Park rangers are based in Leasowe Lighthouse, which is the oldest brick lighthouse in Britain. It is said that 660,000 bricks were used in its construction. The Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse work for the preservation of the lighthouse.
