5x7 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1934 on Long Island Sound of the 4 masted bark HUSSAR undersail, partially rigged, port bow view with a black hull. HUSSAR, the second vessel of this name, was a 316 foot 4-masted bark designed by Cox and Stephens and built by Fried Krupp Germaniawerft of Kiel Germany in 1931 owned by E.F. Hutton. Later renamed, ANGELITA, PATRIA, ANTARNA and SEA CLOUD. Masted in black when HUSSAR. The yacht HUSSAR was commissioned by E.F. Hutton for his new wife, Marjorie Meriwether Post Hutton. When the Huttons divorced, Marjorie kept the yacht. In 1935, she married Joseph Davies, and the yacht's name was changed to SEA CLOUD and she was painted white.
