5x7 glass plate negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in August, 1916. Image of 185' Gardner & Cox designed, Townsend & Downey built three masted auxiliary schooner ATLANTIC (built 1903 in Shooters Island, N.Y.) at sea. Visible in image: port bow view of three masted schooner (A/4) running before the wind under main, fore and mizzen sails, topsails on all three masts, main staysail, genoa jib and spinnaker.
