Nevins built 12 meter class sloop GLEAM (built 1937 in City Island, NY) and the 70' Sparkman & Stephens designed, Henry B. Nevins built 12 meter class sloop NORTHERN LIGHT (built 1938 in City Island, NY) sailing on Long Island Sound.
