It was built and designed in 1894 by the Gas Engine & Power Company of Morris Heights, New York, shown here underway, starboard bow view. Shoreline with trees in the background. Handwritten neg. sleeve info.: "Echo / Y84 / Box 9". Handwritten on emulsion side in the margin in black ink: "copyright 96 / Echo / #566 / June 6 96" and on the surface right edge adhered caption: "566 Echo, June 6, " ."
