8 x 10 glass plate negative photographed by Charles Edwin Bolles on October 11, 1892. Port bow view of the schooner rigged sidewheel steamer yacht, CLERMONT, designed by A. Van Santvoord and built by H. Lawrence in Greenpoint, NY. in 1892. She was also renamed CHARMARY in 1911 and used in commercial service after years as a yacht until about 1921. She was originally built at 160' and then lengthened in 1897 to 175'. Handwritten neg. sleeve info.: "Clermont / Y49".
