6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld during the time of Larchmont Race Week in the summer of 1911 sponsored by the Larchmont Yacht Club, Larchmont, New York. Image of the sloop CORINTHIAN, undersail, starboard beam view on a very mild port tack with deck visible. CORINTHIAN was a 54'4" P Class sloop, sail #P51, built in 1911 by Herreshoff Manufacturing of Bristol, RI, and designed by Nathanael Herreshoff. Written on the original negative sleeve: "P.51 L.Y.C. 1911 / Plate 507 / Box 40". Written in black ink upper right edge of negative: "Corinthian". CREDIT LINE: Mystic Seaport, Rosenfeld Collection.
