View of SHAMROCK V undersail, port bow view on a starboard broad reach with a marconi-rigged mainsail. SHAMROCK V was Sir Thomas Lipton's 121' Charles W. Nicholson designed, Camper & Nicholson built J class entry (built 1929 in Gosport, England) at the 1930 preliminary trials and was Mr. Lipton's fifth failed attempt for the America's Cup.
