35mm safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in August of 1972 at the Nyack Boat Club Regatta sponsored by the Nyack Boat Club, Nyack, New York. One of the events held was the Highlander National Championship and this image was taken of a 20' Gordon Douglass designed Highlander class sloop, bow on view of vessel on a starboard broad reach under mainsail and jib. Three people are hiking out to windward, including Margaret Tate reaching for the center of boat and Susan Nickerson who is arched back with her hair in the water.
