Image of the vessel BANSHEE undersail, starboard quarter view on a port tack with deck and crew visible. BANSHEE was a 59' New York 40' Class sloop, sail #8 and then #NY48. She was designed by Nathanael G. Herreshoff and built by Herreshoff Manufacturing of Bristol, Rhode Island in 1916. She was named PAULINE (1916-1922), BANSHEE (1923-1929), and lastly CHINOOK (1929-1984+). Typed neg. sleeve info.: "15355-F / 6/27/25 / NY-8 BANSHEE deck view/ [Box] 1282".
