5 x 7 Kodak safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons during the time of Larchmont Race Week, July 18, 1935. Deck view of the 12 meter sloop MITENA, sail #10, while undersail with William J. Strawbridge, the owner, seen in the cockpit at the tiller with two unidentified women lounging on the seats. Four men seen further up on the vessel's deck (which have been cropped from the Rosenfeld print). The scene is very casual, the women are seen in bathing suits, Mr. Strawbridge is seen in just his shorts and a hat. The men on bow area are also casually lounging. Stamped on original negative sleeve: "72158F / JUL 18 1935 / LARCHMONT RACE WEEK 1935 / [Box] 4201". Handwritten on negative sleeve: "Deck Mitena 12/10".
