Vessel lines are for the 12 metre, CONSTELLATION, #US20, the America's Cup defender for 1964 and an Olin Stephens design. View of Paul Coble, on the left, and Nils Halvorsen laying the lines in a large lofting space. Nils Halvorsen is on his knees bent over close to loft the lines. Mr. Halvorsen's grandson stated that Nils worked with his face so close to the floor because at this time in his life he was almost blind, but came out or retirement to do two last America's Cup defenders for Olin Stephens.
