Image of the 135' Olin Stephens design, Bath Iron Works built J class sloop RANGER (built 1937 in Bath, Me.), sail #J5 on the left and the 128'5" Camper & Nicholson J class sloop ENDEAVOUR II (built 1936 in Gosport, England), sail #K6 on the right, at start of last race of the 1937 America's Cup. Visible in image: starboard beam view of RANGER (J/5) and ENDEAVOUR II (J/K6) on a starboard close-hauled tack under marconi rigged mainsails, staysails and jibs, at the starting line, which ENDEAVOUR II has crossed too early, the starting buoy can be seen just over ENDEAVOUR II's stern.
